Penn Center’s 40th Annual Heritage Days Celebration

Heritage Days has been celebrated at Penn Center, formerly Penn School, on St. Helena Island, South Carolina for 40 years. I serve as a volunteer on the Heritage Days Planning Committee where I am the Chair of 4 sub-committees: Gullah Roots Village, Heritage Symposium, Parade, and the Young Professionals Mixer. I plan, create marketing materials, and execute logistics of each event during the weekend. The 40th Celebration marked a new beginning and I look forward to continuing to support the event next year.
